The Curtin Library Makerspace and the Australian Virtual Reality Network, Curtin (AVRN Curtin) invite you to another session in our series of ‘Basic VR development’.
The program will continue on from the work done in the previous classes. This will include finishing up a basic print console game and starting to make a VR game.
Participants will be required to BYO laptop – Please download Unity Personal software prior to attending. Register your interest now for this workshop.

Light Makers @ the Library 17 – 21 August, 2015
The Library ran a successful makerspace event during National Science Week, from the 17th – 21st August. ‘Light Makers @ the Library” was a week of activities and workshops around the theme of light. Workshops included
- light painting using apps
- soft circuits, wearable electronics
- paper circuitry
- illuminated origami
- makey makeys
Curtin Festival of Learning, March 2015
Earlier this year, as part of the Curtin Festival of Learning, Curtin Makers set up a Pop-up Makerspace and facilitated a variety of activities , workshops and discussions over a week. Workshops included
- augmented reality
- learning to code
During 2015 Curtin Makers have also been involved in other events, such as the WA School Librarians Association Conference and TeachMeetWA.
