Join us for our weekly Crafternoon sessions, held each Tuesday in the Library Makerspace (Robertson Library, Level 5) – Drop in between 12pm and 2pm.

This week we have a few different paper craft activities for you to try, including card making, origami, and bookmarks. No experience necessary, and all materials will be provided.

A Crafternoon is a casual get-together, where you can BYO craft project, share a craft skill, learn something new from a craft buddy, or have a play with some of the crafty materials and tools available in the Makerspace.

Halloween is this Thursday! Time to get spooky with some fun activities that are suitable for all skill levels. You can sew a zombie feltie with designs by Nicola Tedman and Sarah Skeate, make your own Halloween decorations, or just colour in some of our creepy colouring pages. As always, you’re welcome to try any other activity you’d like, or bring in your own.

It’s study week, but it’s also International Games Week! We’ll be re-purposing old board games and making our own using the tools and materials available in the Makerspace. Feel free to bring in your old board games and we’ll give them new life, or use your imagination to make something entirely new!

Do you love data? Do you love art? Do you enjoy relaxing whilst creating something awesome? If you answered YES to any of these questions then this crafternoon activity is perfect for you! We’ll be creating self-portraits based on data about ourselves such as age, interests, outlook, and personality. It’s a simple and fun way to take a break from your exam study. We hope to see you there!
